Super Saver Accounts
This is your membership account for a child between ages 1 month and 13 years of age.
You must keep a minimum of $5.00 in this account at all times. You receive dividends on this account when your average daily balance is $5.00 or more. The dividends are compounded quarterly and paid quarterly. You have access to three withdrawals a month and then you are charged a fee for all withdrawals thereafter.
Club Accounts
Christmas and Special Club Accounts are available. Please call us at (615) 782-7220 for more information.
Money Market Accounts
If you are looking for a higher-earning account but want to avoid long-term commitment then this is the account for you. Our Money Market Account earns interest quarterly, and you do not have to worry about maturity dates. Money Market Accounts yield a higher return on your deposits than our traditional savings accounts.
Unlike some accounts you may see advertised (where your investment is not insured); your deposit at MPD Community Credit Union is federally insured to at least $250,000.00 by the National Credit Union Administration.
Share Certificates
With only a $1,000.00 deposit, members can access the three to sixty month Share Certificates with above-average yields that are amongst the highest around.
IRA Accounts
With uncertainty over the ability of Social Security to meet your needs, you will be forced to rely more on your own resources to support your retirement lifestyle. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are great tax-favored ways to save for retirement.
With a Traditional IRA, your earnings grown tax differed, so you won’t owe income taxes until you make withdrawals. And if you are eligible, your contributions may be tax-deductible. The credit union offers both Traditional and Roth IRA in savings and certificate accounts.
